CONCERN SPREADING OVER “CLOSED [SECRET?] CONFERENCE” IN VILNIUS 25-28 OCTOBER FINANCED BY ROTHSCHILD FOUNDATION (HANADIV LONDON)! LIST OF SPEAKERS INCLUDES SPOKESMAN OF THE LONDON CPJCE “GRAVE TRADER RABBIS” BUT NOT ONE FROM THE MASSIVE INTERNATIONAL OPPOSITION
The amazing scene (April 2015) of the London CPJCE (not very Litvak looking!) rabbis being feted by the prime minister (!) of Lithuania, Algirdas Butkevičius (3rd from left) and his “Jewish affairs” maestro Lina Saulėnaitė. They were in Vilnius to bless plonking a twenty-five million dollar convention center in the middle of the city’s old Jewish cemetery, without even informing the three local rabbis of the meetings underway.
They have since been exposed in Wikileaks as having demanded $100,000 for some supervision work at the cemetery back in 2009 (confirmed by DH, JTA and the Jerusalem Post). Call for transparency: How much are they getting paid this time for the convention center “permission” that is condemned by virtually all other rabbis on the planet? Has this Rothschild Foundation conference, initially planned with the best of intentions, been usurped to enlist well-meaning uninformed outsiders into the effort to legitimize one of the more sensational state-sponsored desecrations of a Jewish cemetery in modern Europe, where people will clap and cheer at conventions, and use bars and washrooms surrounded by thousands of Jewish graves going back to the 15th century?
None of those who have spoken up against the convention center are on the list of speakers.
Local voices of protest include a Vilna born Holocaust survivor, a protestant pastor, the chief rabbi (then fired for his disagreement with the convention center plans) a kashruth supervisor, a rabbinic Gaon of Vilna scholar, and many more (including the major Lithuanian-origin rabbis internationally).
