The decision of the executive board of the Parliament of the Republic of Lithuania of September 19, 2007, No. 1795, confirmed the rules on registration of written materials received, analysis of such, and the reception of people and serving them in the Parliament Chancellery, point 45 of such rules indicating, that requests and complaints by people addressed to the Parliament or its leadership, at their request, are considered by the Receiving Department of the Parliament’s Chancellery.
We inform you that one of the directions of work of the Human Rights Committee of the Parliament of the Republic of Lithuania is to draft and consider legislation and other human rights projects and suggestions concerning human rights guarantees and questions associated with the regulation of relations between ethnicities living in Lithuania.
Therefore we have given your letter “On the Rescue of Jews,” addressed to parliamentary chairperson Loreta Graužinienė, received and registered at the Receiving Department of the Communications Department of the Parliamentary Chancellery on October 15, 2013 (registration no. g-2013-11499), to the Human Rights Committee of the Parliament of the Republic of Lithuania and it was distributed to members of this committee for their consideration.
